Algojola is the village next door. Six kilometres down the valley from us, it sits between Aregno-Plage and a small Genoese citadel that still stands at the edge of the sea. You can walk up to it in twenty minutes; the view back over the bay is the one to catch around sunset.
The beach in front is where most of the watersports happen: a diving and snorkelling school, windsurfing, kitesurfing when the wind picks up. There are a few good places to eat or just have a drink with your feet in the sand. Our favourite is Restaurant Le Chariot — go early, the terrace fills up.
